Carlos Lougourou
Youth leader, Italy
Carlos Lougourou is a GPE youth leader from Burkina Faso currently residing in Italy. From the small village of Kollo, he experienced firsthand the challenges young people face in accessing quality education, which fueled his commitment to inclusivity and capacity-building.
He holds a Master's degree in Law, Digital Innovation, and Sustainability from Luiss Guido Carli University, where he also serves as a Teaching Assistant.
Carlos has gained practical experience as a logistics intern with INTERSOS, a humanitarian organization, where he managed stock control, organized shipments, and facilitated acquisitions. He is also an advocate for climate action, educating peers through an environmental association at his university and his YouTube channel.
