The Climate Smart Education Systems Initiative (CSESI) is a technical assistance initiative launched in March 2023 that aims to enhance countries’ capacities for mainstreaming climate change adaptation and environmental sustainability into education sector plans, budgets and strategies, and for cross-sectoral coordination on climate and environment-related policy and programming.
