Washington D.C./Milan, September 19, 2025 - The Jannik Sinner Foundation and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) today announced a three-year partnership to expand education opportunities for children worldwide. GPE thanked the Foundation for its commitment, calling it an important step to help transform young lives through education.

Founded by tennis champion Jannik Sinner, the Foundation is dedicated to empowering young people through access to quality education and the transformative power of sport.

“Education changes everything,” said Jannik Sinner. “I’ve been lucky to follow my passion through tennis, but I know millions of marginalized children never even get the chance to follow their dreams because they don’t have access to school. With the Global Partnership for Education, we aim to change that together.

The announcement comes at a pivotal moment. The largest generation of children and youth in human history is coming of age. By 2040, nearly 900 million young people across 91 current GPE partner countries will enter the workforce. Yet today, 270 million children remain out of school, and nearly 90 percent of 10-year-olds in low-income countries cannot read a simple text. Without urgent investment in education, the potential of this generation risks being lost.

GPE CEO Laura Frigenti welcomed the commitment: “We are honored that the Sinner Foundation’s first major initiative is a three-year partnership with GPE. Jannik Sinner’s vision and global influence bring fresh momentum and visibility to the education cause. Together, we can help millions of marginalized children learn and thrive.”

Launching the Jannik Sinner Foundation with a three-year partnership with GPE signals its determination to put education and opportunity at the heart of its mission. The Foundation plans to convene leaders from sport, business, and philanthropy to remove barriers to education, so that every child, no matter their background or challenges, can reach their full potential.

GPE warmly thanks the Jannik Sinner Foundation for its partnership and leadership in giving more children the chance to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
