Mariam Bamehriz
Youth leader, Yemen, Republic of
Mariam Bamehriz is a GPE youth leader from Yemen and the founder of the Greener Initiative.
She is committed to advancing transformative education and climate action in her community. She was recognized with a UNDP award for her project "Green Ceramics" under the Youth Leadership Programme.
As a core member of LCOYemen, Mariam has actively collaborated with fellow young leaders to address ecological challenges.
In her role as an MTE Climate Ambassador with the Global Youth Climate Network (GYCN) and as the Communication Officer for the Yemeni Youth Climate Agenda, she promotes the integration of climate education into school curricula.
