Rebecca Mpoyi
Youth leader, Congo, Democratic Republic of
Rebecca Mpoyi is a GPE youth leader from the DRC and a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Kinshasa in Biology.
She is an alumna of the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice and was named among the 50 Most Inspiring Women in the DRC (2023) by Pour Elle Info magazine in recognition of her contributions to science and technology.
She is the founder of Beetadurable, an organization dedicated to sustainable agricultural projects. Additionally, she works as a Program Officer for Actions pour la Réinsertion Sociale de la Femme (ARSF), which focuses on empowering women.
She is also an active member of U-Report Kinshasa, where she advocates for education as a means to achieve sustainability.
