Romance Bassingha

Romance Bassingha is a GPE Youth Leader from Germany, dedicated to advocating for education, gender equality, and children's rights.

She works as a youth reporter for Salon5, the youth editorial team of CORRECTIV, and serves as a youth ambassador for the ONE Campaign.

Additionally, she is a youth representative on Plan International Germany’s Youth Advisory Council and has been part of Plan International’s Global Youth Reference Group.

Growing up with a single mother, she experienced firsthand the vital role of education in shaping opportunities and fostering self-determination. Passionate about social change, Romance volunteers with various organizations, including Ruhrpott for Europe.
