Shamim Chuwe

Shamim Chuwe is a GPE Youth Leader from Malawi currently studying at the United States International University (USIU) Africa campus in Nairobi, Kenya.

As an active CAMFED Association member, Mastercard Foundation Scholar, and Project Manager for the One Love Project Malawi, she is passionate about girls' education, women's leadership, and community development.

She shares scholarship and further education opportunities with girls in her community to support their post-school pathways.

Together with other scholars, she orients new students on ICT skills and she furnished and provided books for a library in an orphanage in Kenya. Shamim is also part of the Tujenge Youth Initiative, which offers support and mentorship to young people.
