Financing GPE 2030
GPE launched an ambitious financing campaign “Multiply Possibility” to cover education funding in 2026-2030. Co-hosted by Nigeria and Italy, GPE aims to raise $5 billion for the GPE fund and $10 billion in cofinancing.
The campaign comes at a pivotal moment. More than 270 million children are out of school and 90% of 10-year-olds in low-income countries cannot read a simple story.
A fully funded GPE 2030 will deliver $15 billion to transform education systems for 750 million children in 96 countries and territories. Every $1 invested in GPE will generate over $33 in lifetime earnings, lifting 23 million people out of poverty.
