Transforming education in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has limited resources and cultural norms that contribute to disparities in education access. The Caribbean region’s susceptibility to natural disasters exacerbates challenges to delivering quality education.

The government is working with GPE and other partners towards comprehensive technology integration for enhanced education.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadine’s Partnership Compact commits to leveraging technology to improve access, overcome existing barriers, enhance educational delivery, and promote gender equality and inclusion within the education system.

Planned activities include development of technological infrastructure, including internet connectivity and digital classrooms, and teacher training programs on technology integration, personalized learning approaches and inclusive pedagogical practices.

New educational content will be gender-sensitive and culturally relevant, and digital learning platforms will help make the content more accessible.
